The One Piece Card Game's fourth-anniversary main set lands this week. The World's Strongest Warriors [OP-17] hits Japan on Saturday, August 22, with US pre-release events kicking off Friday the 21st, and the English wide release follows on Friday, August 28. The theme is exactly what the name promises: the Four Emperors, the Rocks Pirates, and the new faces of the Elbaf arc.
Six leaders, all of them Emperors
Per the early set-list coverage (Bandai posts the full English card list at launch), the leader lineup is a Yonko roll call:
- Edward Newgate (Red)
- Monkey D. Luffy (Black)
- Shanks (Green)
- Kaido (Purple)
- Charlotte Linlin (Yellow)
- Rocks D. Xebec (Blue), the captain of the Rocks Pirates as a playable leader
The chase
What early coverage points at for the top of the set:
- Rocks D. Xebec SEC (OP17-118), one of the set's two Secret Rares, with spoiler trackers pointing at Loki (OP17-119) as the second.
- Treasure Rare Whitebeard (OP17-040), the set's single TR slot.
- Manga-art super parallels of the Emperor leaders, plus a super parallel of the Luffy leader. These are the alt-arts that will carry the box prices.
